USAPANG SULIT

Life is like driving. At times it’s smooth, you may encounter humps and bumps, you choose to slow down or speedup, it has different paths and routes but you can find ways to make your journey more interesting, more beautiful. And you may choose your partner, to make the ride, life, "sulit", like for me it’s my red buddy Toyota Corolla model 96. In today's economically trying times, you might choose to keep your old, high-mileage daily driver and it has to be something SULIT like my car.

My car is sulit because:

S – Sentimental it is for me as it has been through many occasions, happy and tough times, that made me attached to it.

U- Utmost reliability, and superbly built service history.

L- long lifespan it has, though been through repairs, it is still in its good condition until now, after a decade .

I – Important events, trips, travels, a daily partner, is my RED TOYOTA COROLLA model '96

T – This is an asset that started my driving skills and it got a smart driver named Aldrin, that makes it all SULIT.

p.s. plus i don’t have to worry because this one is not prone to carnap *wink*

After an exhausting day and or if you want a family bonding time, you can have a bracing dip in the swimming pool together like we did. enjoy during the heat of the day with a refreshing drink.... and that is Minute Maid.

One summer time was spent by the family at Club Manila East. A time to relax, time to refresh, a time to bond, a time to enjoy!


The photo was taken of May last year, way before the contest, the family enjoys the delicious Minute Maid with or without the contest. Because Minute Maid got real pulpy bits and great combo with any activity.

The New Me

Kicking the habit of smoking is the new me.

During my adolescent years, i am a heavy smoker. Influenced brought by peers and my own curiosity. I could consume packs of cigarette and i wont miss a day without tasting it.

Awareness is the key for me. Yes i already know that smoking causes cancer, and i have heard that from a lot of individuals, from my family, my friends , from strangers but i find it hard to quit the cessation.

I started reading and researching on the bad effects of this habit and even went to the hospital where my mom is working to see for myself the victims and worse things that happen to a smoker.

Now i am already 28 years old, I think that to start overcoming the addiction to nicotine, education is key. The more i understand about it, the more my goal to eventually quit it will be successful.

It also help that you have supportive family and testimonials from those whose lives where endengared because of this wrong habit.

My concern also would be the effects of nicotine in my appearance. This contains toxics that smoking ages you prematurely, add that to falling hair, yellowed teeth and shortness of breath which affects your ability to exercis

And now, that i decided to standby the new me, to continually do this in full gear by 2010, without this addiction, the new, healthy and handsome me will be at hand again.

The wonderful scent of Glutamax will aid in eliminating bad odors caused by the smoke and improve skin conditions. But i must stick first with my decision to ban cigarette from my life.
